The get-together was organized on the 1400 sq ft roof top of my residence. Every one was so excited and busy in chatting with each other that no-one was even interested in drinking even water or Cold Drink. In food there was Chole, Stuffed Parwal, Dal Makhhani, Dry Aloo Bhaji, Mattar Paneer (this item was forgotten to be brought to roof top), Raita, Veg Manchurian Gravy, Butter Naan, Lachha Parantha, Snacks, Cold Drinks and sweets (last six items were from market, rest all home made - nthanks to my wife). There were minor goof ups - Forgot to bring Saunf + Mishri and Napkins to the gathering. There was elongated power cut (used inverter supply), should have arranged Generator for better lighting and more pedastal fans. In the hustle, I forgot to order the Naan etc and the dinner was delayed. Some people may have missed liquor, I was adviced against it by some people, whom I consulted on this. Hope, as all were deep to the heart Baraunians, all would have forgiven me (if not I am sorry again). There were surprise visitors Like Harsha Nayaar, Atul Gupta and Anil Chopra who joined with their families. Lots of people made their virtual presence by sending good wishes and some talking on phone while gathering was on. We will be doing informal opinion hunt about Mega Gathering venue, time and fund raiser. So, Hats off to the Spirit of Baraunians and Big Thanks to All ! Greetings of the day!
Really we all enjoyed in the party by exchanging our old thoughts
and memorising those old moments, it refreshed our memory of Neat and
clean Green Township, the way we used to walk in the evening go to club
for playing or watching movies etc. By meeting this way we feel there
is a need to arrange a more organised meet so that more people can join
the group.
Thanks to DS and Rajesh who taken the initiative and also to dear Raju (Bhutta) who specially joined us from Varanasi.
Initially when one by one entered the door every body started
recognising eachother that who is who, that was very exciting moment.
We all have photo session also, all the pics will be uploaded by
DS after collection. While having refreshments like coldrinks snacks
every body started exchanging those school days moments with each
other, we also remembered mostly all of our teachers like sh.BB
Tiwari,Sh.A N Singh,Sh. R N R Bhatt,Sh. SKC Pandey,Sh.Jagdish Jha,Sh.M
P Singh, Sh. D Sahw etc.
It was very sad to listen that Sh.B B Tiwari and Sh.A N Singh were
no more. Dear Anil Chopra reminded the days when he used to go with
other friends for extra classes from Sh. B B Tiwari at the time of
Board exams, how dedictedly Tiwari sir took the classes that everybody
knows.
In the last we all had dinner some prepared by DS and his wife and
some procured from outside, my special thanks to him and his wife and
chidren who helped DS in all the arrangments.
Thanks to our special guests Dear Atul Gupta, Anil Copra, Harsh Nayyar who joined us in the party on a single say.
Dear Anil Jha, Jeevad, Nidhi,Poonam,Vibha, all made the meet enjoyable and success by there presence.
We will surely arrange a bigger meet for that we have to form a
common group where we can all read the messages of eachother and
proceed futther, this i think DS can do in better way,
DS pl. suggest further.
