Umesh Sharma (1980) wrote after his visit to Barauni (from Delhi) in connection to preparation for MGT-2010 - बरौनी चलो रे ! Dear Baraunians, I visited KV-HFC Barauni in connection with the arrangements of MGT-2010, the deliberations are as under: Sanjay Kumar (1985) had arranged for one of the best event management teams in Bihar. Umesh Sharma (1980), Chandra Shekhar Jha (1982), Biresh Kumar (1988) had a meeting and discussions with them on all the aspects, their executives were deputed to visit KV-HFC so that the minute details can be worked out. Sanjay Kumar (1985) has arranged a very good vendor for videography and photography of the entire event. Umesh Sharma (1980) and Sanjay Kumar (1980) reached the School at around 4.00PM on 23/10/2010 from Patna alongwith the executives of event management group, by that time Akhilesh Thakur (1981), Prem Chand Rai (1984) Vivekanand Singh (1984), Ajay Mohan Talwar (1984), Amitabh Krishna (1985), Vishal Krishna (1990) reached the School and also informed the Principal Mrs Shanti Tigga who also arrived to the School alongwith staff members. The issue related to MGT-2010 were discussed, worthy Principal agreed to extend all the possible support including rooms inside the School, official permission, group of students for cultural events. It is evident that there is lot of excitement building up at the School. Photograph at School venue taken and is being shared. The team further visited the hotel at Zero mile where booking of rooms is confirmed, the photographs showing the hotel will speak of itself that the hotel is at par with any good hotel with all amenities and facilities. There are three hotels so there is no shortage of rooms. The local management group again met at IOC at the Restaurant of Pradeep Kumar Mishra (1984) and all issues were discussed at length, the enthusiasm of local management group is evident as they have already planned entire details in advance. It was agreed that most of the Baraunians around Barauni are not using the NET frequently hence their response time in depositing the contributions etc is bit slow so they should be contacted to expedite the matter. It was decided that all Baraunians be approached through all means to ensure their participation. Those willing to re-live in the School on 25/12/2010 may come forward immediately and get themselves registered. Looking forward for participation of more and more Baraunians. Umesh Sharma (1980) |
